Our 3/16-inch thick steel skid plate protects your transfer case and exhaust crossover pipe from damage when the undercarriage smashes into rocks or ledges. The plate is mounted to 1.5 inch x .120 inch inch wall round steel tubing which extends out to the frame rails where it mounts with bolt-on backing plates. This innovative design spreads the load from impacts to the vehicle’s frame and away from the vulnerable and expensive transfer case.
