#37, F1 3¢ SQ, 2¢ RLS cork cancelled on stained cover from Victoria, BC (JU 3 85) paying 5¢ registered letter rate to Barkerville, BC, ms “uncalled for” at left, sent to Ottawa DLO with “Rec’d at DLO 1” bs and then split ring DLO Canada bs (JY 27 85). Cover likely then returned to sender. An amazing double crossing of Canada, and an excellent reason for the eventual establishment of the Branch DLO system years later.
